THE PHEV SMARTPHONE APP: CHECK YOUR CAR FROM YOUR PHONE

Not many people can say they have an app for their car. Anyone who owns the Outlander PHEV (VRX only) can. Anytime, while sitting on your couch, working at your desk, or sitting in bed, you can check on your PHEV.

Specifically, you can:

• Schedule your charging times
• Turn the A/C on and off and set it to run on a schedule
• Check the general status, like whether the doors are ajar, the headlights are on or off, the battery charge progress plus others.
• Turn the headlights and parking lights on and off.
• Customise the vehicle settings and check your theft alarm history.
